District Tournament Update:
The Lady Camels varsity played an excellent game against a tough Brossart squad controlling the ball most of the game, but the Lady Camels failed to find the net and lost 1 to 0.
We will miss the seniors who gave so much to Campbell County soccer ... the winningest group of seniors to ever play for the Lady Camels with 44 varsity wins in 4 years.
JV Tournament Update:
The JV team lost in the championship game to Notre Dame and ended up as the runner-up.
The JV team beat St Henry 1 - 0 earlier in the day to advance to N. Ky. JV championship game. Lauren M scored on a cross from MacKenzie S early in the second half and the Lady Camels held on with an aggresive defense to win. Bryanna S had the shutout in the goal.

The varsity team won their 10th game of the year beating Simon Kenton 1 to 0. Lauren M scored off a cross from Lynsey L early in the second half. Megan R had another shutout in the goal aided by defenders Taylor R, Mikayla H, Christina H, Angela L, Marissa G, and Brandi R.
The freshmen team pounded Simon Kenton 6 to 0 with goals by Kelsey R, Brooke B, MacKenzie G, Alyson K, Taylor W, and Taylor J. The freshmen team ended their season having lost just one game and allowing only 3 goals on the season.
The JV team loss 2 to 0.

The freshmen team beat Notre Dame 5 - 1 with 2 goals by Channa W and single goals by Ashley S, Mackenzie G, and Taylor J.
The varsity team held the powerful Panda team scoreless until ND found the goal 10 minutes into the second half. A last minute goal was added as the varsit lost 3 - 0.
The JV team lost to ND. Mackenzie S scored the lone goal for the Lady Camels.

The JV team won their quarterfinal round JV tournament game beating Dixie 2 to 1. Brooke B and Lauren S scored. The JV team advances to the semi-finals of the tournament on Saturday against St. Henry.

After a bad break early in the game giving Boone Co. a goal, the varsity played with high intensity in dominating the rest of the game. Faith R. scored for the Lady Camels as the game ended in a 1 - 1 tie.
The freshmen team routed the Rebels 4 to 0 with 2 goals by Channa W and single goals by Bryanna S and Ashley S.

The varsity team improved their record to 9 wins, 3 losses, and 2 ties by beating Vill Madonna 6 to 0. Lynsey L had a hat trick. Jessica G, Brandi R, and Lauren M each added a goal.
The girls' soccer JV team beat Villa Madonna 4 to 0. The JV team has won 8 games while losing just 2 and tying 2. Gretchen W, Taylor S, Lauren S, and Hannah N all scored. Taylor W and Bryanna S combined for the shutout in the goal. The defense has shut out 4 straight teams.

The varsity team beat Cooper 3 to 1 on a muddy field. Kristen R, Lynsey L, and Jessica G scored. Taylor R led another superb defensive effort by the team.
The JV team beat Cooper 2 to 0 with goals by Gretchen W and Brooke B. Lauren M had an assist. Bryanna S had the shutout in the goal.

The JV team won their 1st round tournament game beating Scott 3 to 0. Brooke B scored twice and Brandi R added the 3rd goal. Hannah N led the defensive effort. Kylyn S had the shutout in the goal. The team advances to the 2nd round of the tournament against Dixie next weekend.

Dixie beat the varsity 2-0. The JV tied Dixie 0 - 0 with a complete game shutout by Bryanna S. Hannah N anchored the defense as the sweeper.

The varsity team beat Holy Cross 1 to 0 on Weds. night. Hollie W scored the only goal off a cross from Lauren M. Megan R had her 6th shutout of the season in the goal.
The girls' freshmen soccer team won 4 to 0 over Holy Cross. Lauren S scored twice as Ashley S and Kelsey R each scored once. Bryanna S and Taylor W combined for the shutout in the goal.

The varsity soccer team held a high powered Ryle team scoreless on a great defensive effort by Taylor R, Christina H, Angela L, Michaela H, Shelby D, and goalkeeper Megan R. The game ended in a 0 - 0 tie.
The freshmen girls' soccer team also tied an undefeated Ryle freshmen team 0 - 0 with a shutout by goalkeeper Bryanna S. Sweeper Holly S. led the defensive effort. The JV played well but lost 1 to 0.

The freshmen team won over Brossart 2 to 0 with goals by Kelsey R and Brooke B. Byranna S. had the shutdout. The JV team tied 0-0 with a shutout by Kylyn S. The varsity lost 2-0.

The varsity team ran their record to 6 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie with a 4 to 0 win over Harrison County. Lynsey L had 2 goals. Natalie V and Molly K added a goal each. Taylor R led the defensive effort. Megan R got the shutout in the goal.
The girl's JV soccer team now have 5 wins against only 1 loss as they beat Harrison County 6 to 0. Lauren M, Mackenzie S, Brooke B, Morgan B, Taylor S, and Gretchen W all scored. Bryanna S had the shutout.
Results for 8/29
The varsity team beat Highlands for the 1st time in school history on Monday night in district play. The game ended 1-1 and went to a PK shootout. Hollie W made the final PK and Megan R saved the last Highland's shot as the Lady Camels won 6 to 5 on PKs. Lynsey L scored the goal in regulation. It was the 4th straight win for the varsity team.
The girls soccer freshmen team beat Highlands 1 to 0 on a late goal by Kelsey R. Bryanna S had the shutout in the goal.
Mackensie S scored twice in the JV game, but the Lady Camels lost 3-2.

The varsity team beat Montgomery County 8 to 1 with a hat trick by Lynsey L and single goals by Erin B, Jessica G, Natalie V, Chelsea W, and Kristen R. Natalie V also had 3 assists and Taylor R had 2 assists.
The JV team behind 3 goals by Lauren M and a single goal by Mackensie S overpowered Montgomery Co. 4 to 1.

The varsity team beat Scott 3 to 0 with 2 goals by Lynsey L and a single goal by Kristen R. Lynsey has made 7 goals in the first 5 games of the season. Megan R got her second straight shutout in the goal. Kristen R and Natalie V has assists.
The JV team stayed undefeated with 3 wins on the season with a 2 to 0 win over Scott. Morgan B and Lauren S scored. Brynna S had the shutout in the goal. Brooke B had an assist.

Eight different players scored as the girl's varsity soccer team beat Pendleton County 8 to 0. Kristen R, Taylor R, Hollie W, Christina H, Lynsey L, Natalie V, Jessica G, and Erin B all had a goal. Megan R had the shutout in the goal.
The girl's soccer JV team won 10 to 1 over Pendleton County. Both Lauren M and Mackensie S had hat tricks. Lauren S, Holly S, Olivia N, and Ashley S each scored once.
Results for 8/19 and 8/20
The varsity only allowed 5 shots on goal, but Beechwood found the net on a corner late in the game to pull even and the game ended to a 1-1 tie. Lynsey L. scored for the Lady Camels.
The JV scored 3 first half goals to beat Beechwood 3-0. Taylor J scored twice and Mackenzie S scored once. Bryanna had the shutout in the goal.
The freshmen lost 2-1 to a strong St Henry team in a great up and down the field exciting game. Taylor W scored for the Camels.

The varsity team beat Bellevue 11-0 on Weds. night in district play. Natalie V. had 3 goals, Lynsey L. had 2 goals, Kristen R. had 2 goals, and Miranda K., Mollie K., Jessica G., and Erin B. scored a goal each. Megan R. had the shutout in the goal.
Results from Monday 8/15
After taking a 1-0 lead at halftime on a Lynsey L. goal, the Lady Camels gave up 2 early goals in the 2nd half (1 on a PK) digging a hole that they could not recover from and lost 3-1 to Conner.
BGSG Update
All mid and late afternoon games on Saturday and all medal round games were canceled due to the heat.
The varsity lost 1-0 on Saturday to Louisville Ballard despite out shooting Ballard 18 to 1. The Lady Camels rebounded with a 4-0 victory over Woodford County on Sunday with goals by Kristen R, Michaela H, Brittany S, and Lynsey L.
The JV played both of their games on Saturday tying Louisville Male 2-2 with goals by Taylor J and MacKenzie S before losing to LCA 2-0.
