The Lady Camels finished the season ranked 21st in the statewide coaches poll. This is the 2nd year in a row the Lady Camels ended the season ranked in the top 25 in the state (we were 24th last year).

Previous Game Recaps
The varsity team beat Villa Madonna 2 to 0 on Weds. 10/7 and ended the regular season with 10 wins, 2 losses, and 3 ties. Kaitlin B. scored both goals in the win. The team starts district play at 1 PM Sunday against Bellevue at home. The JV tied Villa Madonna in a shortened game.

The varsity soccer team beat Ryle 2 to 0 on Monday night 10/5. Anne Marie D. and Kaitlin B. had the goals. Julie A. had an assist and Megan R. had the complete game shutout. The JV tied Ryle 1 to 1 on a goal by Michaela H.

The varsity tied Bishop Brossart 2 - 2 on Sat. Oct 3rd. Lynsey L. and Amy N. had the goals. The Lady Camels led most of the game until Brossart tied it with less than 10 minutes left. The Freshman team beat the previously unbeaten Brossart Freshman team 1 to 0 on a goal by Molly K.. Kylyn S. had the complete game shutout in the goal. Way to go Lady Camels!!!

The varsity team tied the #1 team in the state, the Notre Dame Pandas, 0 - 0 on Senior night on Wed. Sept. 30th.  Prior to Weds. night the Lady Camels had never managed a tie or win against the Pandas. Megan R. had 7 saves in the goal while the defensive back four of Sarah C., Carolynn D., Taylor R., and sweeper Anne Marie D. played flawlessly.

Monday Sept. 21 Results: The varsity team lost 2 - 0 to NCC in district play. NCC scored just before half and added a second goal with 18 minutes left in the contest.

The girls’ varsity and JV teams both beat Pendleton County on Monday night. The varsity won 3 – 0 while the JV won 6 – 0. Kaitlin B., Amy N., and Carolynn D. scored for the varsity while Megan R. recorded another complete game shutout in the goal. Kimmy K. scored twice for the JV while Kristen R., Alex P., Molly K. and Mackenzie H. all scored once.  Catrina L., Michaela H., Sydney W., and Miranda K. had the assists for the JV.

The freshman team beat St. Henry on 9/12 1 to 0 on a line shot second half goal by Kristin M.  Bryanna S. and Kylyn S. combined in the goal for the shutout. The JV lost to the Crusaders 3-0.

On 9/10 Kaitlin B, had a hat trick, Amy N. added 2 goals, and Anne Marie D. and Anna C. each scored once as the varsity team beat Beechwood 7-0. Megan R. had the complete game shutout in the goal. The Lady Camels shut out their sixth opponent in nine games.

The varsity team beat Holmes10 to 0 on Wednesday 9/9 to up their record to 6-1-1 on the year. Amy N. (2), Kaitlin B., Anna C. (2), Anne Marie D., Shelby D., Julie A., Chelsea K., and Bridget D. all scored. The team had 40 shots in total for the game.

The varsity played valiantly but lost to Highlands 1-0 in an evenly contested match for the first loss on the season on 9/3. The Lady Camels had 13 shots. Megan R. had 7 saves in the goal. The JV lost 4-0. The Freshman team tied the Birds 0-0 on a well played game, that could of gone either way, by the entire team and an excellent game by GK Brianna S.

Kaitlin B. had a hat trick to lead the varsity to a 7 - 0 win over Scott. Amy N., Carolynn D., Lynsey L., and Anne Marie D. added a goal each. Assists were made by Carolynn D., Bridget D., Lynsey L., and Anna C.  The Lady Camels found the net 7 times on 30 shots. Megan R. and Kaitlyn R. combined for the shutout in the goal.The JV beat Scott 4 - 0 on two first half goals by Alex P. and single goals by Chelsea W. and Jessica G

Anne Marie D. hit a rocket into the goal on a free kick with 2 minutes remaining as the varsity team tied 1-1 the 6th ranked team in the state, West Jessamine. Megan R. had 8 great saves in the goal. The JV played an excellent 2nd half to tie West Jessamine 0-0. Kylyn S. and Mackenzie H. combined for the shutout in the goal. Brittany S., sweeper, led the defensive effort.

The varsity team beat Dixie 2-0.  Kaitlin B. scored 7 minutes into the game off a free kick by Anne Marie D. Any Neltner scored late in the first half. Megan R. recorded a complete game shutout in the goal. The JV team tied 1-1 on a 2nd half goal by Sydney W.

The varsity team beat Simon Kenton in a hard fought clash 2-1. Lynsey L. and Kaitlin B. scored the goals. Anne Marie D. had both assists. Megan R. made a big save late in the game to seal the victory. The JV team lost 2-0 to fall to 2-1 on the year. The freshmen team started their season beating Simon Kenton 3 – 0. Molly K. had 2 goals and Rachel C. had one.

The Varsity team beat Harrison Co. 2 to 0 on August 19th. Amy N. and Carmen S. scored the 2 goals. Megan R. had the shutout in the goal. The team is 2 - 0 on the year. The JV team was ahead 1 to 0 on a goal by Catrina L. when the JV game was called for lightening.

The Girls Varsity and JV each started the season out with a win against Conner on August 17th. The Varsity won 4 to 0 with 2 goals by Kaitlin B. and one each by Lynsey L. and Carmen S. Anna C., Amy N., and Anne Marie D. had the assists. Megan R. and Kaitlyn R. combined for the shutout in the goal.  The JV won 2 to 0 with goals by Michaela H. and Sydney W. Kylyn S. and Mackenzie H. had the shutout in the goal.

The varsity was eliminated from the District 19 tournament on Tuesday 10/13 in a heart breaking 1 to 0 loss to NCC finishing the season with an 11-3-3 record. Thanks to all the seniors that helped make this program a success...We miss you already!!!

The varsity team won their first round district game on Sunday 10 to 0 over Bellevue. Amy N had 3 goals. Lynsey L., Julie A., Kaitlin B., Carmen S., Shelby D., Micahela H., and Taylor R. all had a goal each. Carolynn D. and Christina H. each had an assist.
